CHILDREN & YOUTH PROGRAMS
Aldersgate takes children's safety seriously. We follow the Safe Sanctuary protocols for all volunteers and staff. To learn more about Safe Sanctuary or any of the church programs please contact the church office.

Children ages 0-2
Supervised care is provided year round during Sunday worship.
Children age 3 to 5th Grade
Sunday School (September-May)
After Children's Time during worship, children may either attend Sunday School (divided by age) or remain in the sanctuary.

Kids Club (year-round)
A series of fun events in which children and their families enjoy games, crafts, singing, snacks or meals, and outreach opportunities.
Vacation Bible School -- Children ages 3 through entering 6th grade
This year's program, Hero Hotline: Called Together to Serve God (Cokesbury) was a wonderful week of fun and learning. Stay tuned for plans for 2024!
Youth 6th-12th grades
Sunday School (September-May)
Meets from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Youth study a variety of Christian topics through videos, games, Bible study, discussions, and other activities.

Meets during the school year at Aldersgate. All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join us. Activities are designed to promote Christian fellowship and community among participants. All activities have at least two adult volunteer leaders.

Camp ALLdersgate
An opportunity for people of all ages to come together for a weekend at Wesley Woods United Methodist Camp in Dowling, MI. Participants have ranged in age from infant to 80+, as singles, couples, and larger family units. Among the many activities offered are swimming, canoeing, tubing, hiking, campfires, and just relaxing. The United Methodist Church offers other camping opportunities. Click HERE to find out more. |
