Legacy of generosity - Fall 2016
The theme for Aldersgate’s 2016 giving campaign builds on our congregation’s proud history of generosity; our “Legacy of Generosity,” past, present, and future. The theme connects the faithful ministries of past members to present ministries, and looks ahead with hope for future ministries. We love the African concept of Ubuntu, which can be roughly interpreted, “I am who I am because of who we all are.”
Aldersgate members and friends have a long history of being generously involved in mission and ministry in the congregation and community and, through The United Methodist Church, the nation, and world.
In the weeks ahead, we hope you’ll join us in exploring our individual and church community legacies of the past, present, and future:

In the weeks ahead, we hope you’ll join us in exploring our individual and church community legacies of the past, present, and future:
- “What person, community or event shaped you in the past? How?”
- “How is the Aldersgate community shaping you?”
- “What legacy do you hope to leave?”
